This site is a tribute to Joan & John Price who sadly passed away within a week of each other. Mum had been ill for a few weeks and declined quickly, she had a severe episode of delirium, fell and fractured her pelvis then developed pneumonia. Dad who had been suffering from a degenerative neurological condition developed new neurological symptoms and a quick decline once he knew how unwell she was. Once Mum passed away his decline was even faster. Our hearts are broken that they are no longer with us but the love story of their devotion to each other keeps Helen and I going each day. We were limited with visits but once they were near the end we were both allowed to spend as much time as we wanted with Mum and Dad and these times were precious. Dad remained smiling despite losing his speech completely in the last week of his life. We are so proud of them both, the way Dad dealt with his condition and the way Mum cared for him so lovingly for as long as she did. RIP Mum and Dad xxxxx
